My name is Izabella Mueller alias Iss Mueller, and for the past few years I have been hand-painting illustrative surface patterns for brands who believe that aesthetics matter - including in the world of children.

Each design is created out of attentiveness - to details, stories, colours and emotions. These are not 'childlike' designs in the simplistic sense - they are thoughtful compositions that develop imagination, build sensitivity and tell a story without imposing it. My patterns can be found in the collections of companies from almost all over the world, appearing on textiles, wallpaper and everyday products - wherever function meets art.
