Conditions of use of the designs 

Licensing rules - EXCLUSIVE and NON-EXCLUSIVE  

The products available in the shop are divided into two licence categories: EXCLUSIVE and  UNCLASSIFIED. Each entails a different scope of rights to use the graphic designs on offer.  

Licences shall be granted exclusively for the use of designs in the textile sector, i.e. in textile-related designs, products and materials (e.g. clothing, accessories, decorative fabrics, bedding, home textiles, etc.).  

Beauty that can be shared. 

1. non-exclusive licence (applies to products under the "non-exclusive" tab)  

  • The customer acquires the right to use the design under the terms of the non-exclusive licencelimited to use in the sector textile products. 
  • The same design can be used in parallel by other licensees (also in textiles), without territorial restrictions.  
  • The design may be used on textile products, textile-related promotional materials  
  • The licence does not include the right to colour or sector exclusivity.  

One design, many versions.  

2. exclusive licence for background colour (applies to products under the "EXCLUSIVE" tab)  

  • The customer acquires the right to use the design in the version with a specific background colour on the basis of exclusive licencelimited to the sector textile products.  
  • The exclusivity applies only to a specific background colour - a given colour version of a design is assigned to only one licensee in the textile sector.  
  • Other customers can purchase the same design but only in other colour versionsnon-exclusive.  
  • The licence does not include exclusivity for the design as such, nor for sectors other than textiles.  

Additional comments:  

  • All designs are protected by copyright - the economic rights remain with the author.  
  • The purchase of a licence (both exclusive and non-exclusive) does not imply a transfer of copyright.  
  • The licence only authorises the use of the design in textile products - not  includes other sectors (e.g. ceramics, paper, packaging, wallpaper, posters, stickers, etc.). 
  • The licensee does not have the right to resell, sublicense or modify the design without the written consent of the owner.  
  • Detailed licensing conditions can be specified individually in the contract or in the description of the design (A detailed licence agreement will be sent with the invoice after the purchase of the design)
